Planning Committee: Leaders in individual areas help gather ideas for the show, recruit other volunteers and help prepare for the event. If you are interested in taking on the challenge of leading in a certain area, please contact us.
Baking Team: We need help gathering baked goods. Take sign up sheets to your work, church group and friends to help us gather sweet treats to sell at the event.
"Foof & Fluff" Team: We can use your help packaging baked goods on the Friday before the event! Join other ladies to package and tie bows on the items. If you're not very good at the bows, not to worry! Our talented ladies can teach you in a snap. Choose the amount of time you'd like to contribute between 8am and 3pm.
Marketing: Take fliers to your church and posters to your favorite businesses to spread the word about Christmas in October. Coffee shops and local businesses are usually very kind and allow us to advertise the event in their window or event board.
Event Day Opportunities- (all shifts are two hours)
Bake Sale: Set baked goods on display table and replenish throughout shift. Other jobs include helping with checkout, reserving and storing items for shoppers and carrying out for shoppers, if necessary.
Hospitality: "Booth sit" for vendors who need a short break. No money is involved with booth sitting. Offer bottled water, coffee and snacks to vendors (provided by Sharing Hope Ministry).
Door Prize Team: Let shoppers know about the door prize opportunities. Shoppers complete an entry form and volunteers put forms into the drawing.
Security Team: Monitor entrances, exits and show activity.
